Noise Pollution
There is a person standing outside my office building and shouting through a megaphone, and generally making a lot more noise than it is polite to do so. His gripe is against Isreil, who's embassy we share our building with. While I fully accept his right to freely protest, I find it annoying for two reasons.
1. I know Isreil's human rights record is pretty deplorable, but Palestine's leaves a lot to be desired. In my opinion the leadership on both sides has been aggrivating the situation while the people they represent are suffering.
2. Whenever they hear about a protest, Embassy staff generally take the afternoon off, so they're not there to hear what he's saying. Admittedly, if they were to protest every day, it would seriously impinge on the embassy's workload, but there's no need for them to make so much noise.
I'm sure I'm being selfish. :-)
