Feed madness

I have successfully created my first feed on LJ. It's [livejournal.com profile] davidstewart's regular blog, [livejournal.com profile] sciencefriction, which contains some interesting SF and technology musings. Dave is a long time Macintosh user, so his views should be popular here.

While I'm at it, [livejournal.com profile] mauramchugh is well worth a read. Another interesting mix of SF, technology and mid-Atlantic politics.

The way syndication works is that you get charged "points" for every feed you befriend. The more people who friend a feed, the lower its charge. If only one person views a feed, it has a charge of "1" whereas when hundreds view it the score falls to a tiny fraction.

You have two options: either get loads of people to add them to their friends lists, thus lowering their scores to the point where you can fit them, or get a paid account to get more syndication points.
