lostcarparkWas going to say Boo to werk because I thought they were going to tell me I couldn't go snowboarding next month. But this morning I was (reluctantly) told it would be fine as long as I make sure I hand over everything I'm working on so other people can deal with it while I'm gone. The dates we're going (7th-14th Feb) are in the middle of our project roll-out (starting 2nd Feb) to end users. However, there's never really a good time to take holidays around here, so in the end they were quite reasonable.
My performance review is tomorrow. This year they've changed the system so that I can see my manager's comments before the review. They've been generally quite complimentary, which means I'm less stressed about the review than I might otherwise be. Only worry is that he's keeping the paper part of the review complimentary. Fingers crossed!
So we're booked to go snowboarding! We're going to Les Deux Alps. We're flying from Gatwick which means I have to book another flight to get there, which is a bit of a pain. On the other hand, it's still cheaper than most deals I could get here, so we're on a winner.
Can't wait to hit the slopes!
