Hugos and Parties

Got a frantic call from jamesb about 7pm last night. The person who was supposed to set up the Sproutlore party had got stuck and nobody else was available. Had to run over to Hilton and find where our stuff was stored and set it all up. Helena was a big help, and once things got going it was a huge hit, with many loud screams of "M'hinge". Dry ice cooled drinks were a bonus.

Charles Stross won a Hugo, as did Plokta and, of course, Dave Langford. Good night all round.

Today YAFA invaded the "Future of Fandom" panel. We weren't expecting to find them armed and ready...

Had an absolute hoot at the Sproutlore party! It was great to see such a bunch of complete lunatics having a great time! ;) Loved the cheese at the end, too! Thanks for a great party!
