Wow! That was unexpected.
I'm pretty sure we'd have heard if there was going to be a new Doctor - unless it's a very closely guarded secret!
I didn't watch any of the spoilers for next week, so I don't know if David Tennant is in it (please don't tell me).
I thought the first half was utterly excellent. With such a big cast it would be easy to fall into self-congratulatory back slapping and gratuitous sillyness, but I though all the characters were brought together brilliantly.
How am I going to survive the next week?

Had heard a good year ago that Bloody Bloody James Bloody Nesbitt was in the frame as the new Doctor - he bloody better not be! Almost anyone but him!
