Seventeen Days and Counting!

Busy day at work.

Arrived in and before I got to log in to my computer, my manager met me and said not to worry about that email, he'd spoken to Ger and Ger had apologised. Logged into email, and Ger had indeed sent a stinker of an email.

In a way, I deserved it. We copied a new version of a system to the production server, and everything seemed to go wrong, and he wasn't around so I had to so something slightly unorthodox to the web server settings to get it working. On the other hand, we haven't handed over support of the application yet, so we weren't really doing anything out of the ordinary until things went a bit awry.

Had a chat with Ger on the phone, and he apologised again, so it was all cool. We'll have to tighten up procedures for putting new versions on the server.

Most of the day I was busy with changes that we're planning to implement on Thursday. I'm trying to get everything finished so I can take Friday off without feeling guilty.

On Friday we're flying to London for the Rescheduled Meat Loaf concert. Any Londoners free and want to meet up for a pint this weekend?

Didn't go to the gym tonight. Taking one night off to relax. I plan to do a good session tomorrow, and Thursday I have my fitness assessment. madangie had her's on Monday, and she told them to give me a hard time. Should be fun!
