Apple have just brought out a 30" Widescreen Flat Panel Cinema Display with a resolution of 2560x1600 pixels. It's compatible with PCs, providing your graphics gard has a DVI connector. I have idea how much it costs, but you could probably buy a small west african country for the same money.

However, since I have no desire to own a small west african country, if I had the money, I'd buy the display.
