Burma Protest

I was at the Bruma protest in Dublin today. Several hundred people showed up to show their support for the people of Burma. Various Burmese exiles and sympathisers gave speeches. Some of the broke down in tears. It was all very good natured in a sad sort of way. It brings it home to see people living near us who have friends and relatives in prison.

I don't know that today's protest will do anything to improve the situation, but I feel it's important to show our support for the people of Burma.

Earth Race

Yesterday I posted a photo of Earth Race from my old phone, and I have to admit it was a bit rubbish. Well, I have a new phone, and the camera seems to be a whole lot better. This is the first photo I took, and I'm pleased how it came out.
