The War To End All Wars

2) the survivors stop being "human" and become something else, since it is part of being human to fight (to protect family, property, ideas; or to gain food, land, prestige or to try to establish superiority usually due to a feeling of inferiority at some level). "War" is just an extension of those feelings of protection and inferiority, written large.
