Today was the first properly sunny day we've had since my new camera arrived, so I was keen to take advantage of the conditions.

Got a nice one from the train of the sun playing across wetlands north of Donabate.

You must think I'm obsessed with trains by now. This one was taken close to the broken crane in Ringsend. I did a little editing to remove the reflection of the train's lights in the window. Quite pleased to have caught a passing seagull.

I'm rather fond of backlit photos, and this one of someone spending their lunchbreak with Patrick Kavanagh by the Grand Canal came out quite well.

Just up the road from my office is Baggot Street. I find the architecture interesting. One side of the street has beautiful old buildings with ornate brickwork, while the other is mostly drab modern buildings. I was looking for a way to represent this in a photograph, and I think I stumbled upon it (though I'm not entirely happy with this shot, so I may try to get a better composition). Slightly modified with PSP8's perspective correction tool.
