Thursday: Got Married! Hurrah! Everything went perfectly, thanks to [livejournal.com profile] madangie's fantastic organisation.

Friday: Got up. Had breakfast in hotel. Stopped off at home. Went to Maynooth and checked into another hotel.

Saturday: Octocon. Successfully married shamanism and quantum physics. Had great fun at Casino Night.

Sunday: More Octocon. Talked about fanzines. Bidded in auction. Had a grand time.

Monday: Quiet day at home.

Tuesday: Rose early. Drove to ferry. Panic upon discovering bank didn't open till 10.30 (staff training). Just made ferry. Jack threw up. Got lost in Chester. Arrived in London. Checked into hotel.

Wednesday: Take open-top bus tour of London. Slip on wet steps at Marble Arch. Dance around and say "feck" a lot. Continue on. Get dizzy. Fall down. Get taken to hospital. Get released with clean bill of health. Eat Pizza. Go crazy in Hamleys.

Thursday: Leave London city for Slough. Nice hotel. Go shopping. Chinese for lunch. See "Shark Tale" in cinema (fun, but not as good as Finding Nemo). Call in on Stef in new house. Dinner in hotel.

Friday: Legoland! Yay! Lots of cool rides and fun things to see and do. Cool dragon roller coaster. Coming home with lots of lego. Resisted temptation of warehouse clearance sale on way out.

More when I get a chance.

Oh, and marriage is wonderful, I recommend it to everyone.

And you didn't visit me?

Congratulations to you both on the wedding!

I only live a short drive from Legoland (though I've never been ... *and* I have a vast collection of Lego!)

In a marquee outside the enterance - so you son't even have to pay in. You get bigger discounts if you've an annual membership, however. The "Pick-a-Brick" store inside is also extremely cool, though I went for the large cup rather than the 1kg bag, and Jack probably put more in than I did.
