Had a lovely meal at TGI Fridays. The food was excellent, though the service was well below what I'd expect for the prices being charged. I had steak with pepper sauce (very peppery!) and mash potato, and madangie and chicken and steak fajitas, which I have to admit was even nicer. Jack had hot dog and chips, and he must have liked it as he ate every bit. The deserts were just too yummy to describe.

We used to have a TGI at the UGC cinema in Swindon, but they turned it into some god-forsaken theme pub :(

I loved their cowboy steak with cheesy mash (something like what I call squashed potatoes) and yummy Jack Daniels sauce. I'm not sure if they do that any more. And the cocktails... I just used to ask the waitress for a red one, then an orange one, then yellow, and so on. Never got much further than green though :)
