Spam in a Can!
Mar. 7th, 2005 10:50 amA trash can, that is.
Got a message that (slightly) ammused me, promising to send my web address to 250,000 opt-in email addresses for free.
How think do these people think I am? I am definitely not on their opt-in list, so if they spam me, chances are they're going to spam a lot of other people with my website. I for one do not wish to be in any way associated with spam, and I'm not willing to take any chances. I can't figure out what their business model is, but I suspect that ethics isn't very high on their list of priorities.
I wouldn't even have read it, except I clicked on it by accident.
