First Viewings
Sep. 4th, 2003 01:10 pmWell people came to view the apartment last night.
The estate agent had told me that there was one person coming, but by yesterday evening, she had another two lined up. I had taken off early to clean out the last few things that were in the way. There was nowhere to put it all except in my car. And, of course, I hadn't left enough time, so when the estate agent arrived at ten to seven, I was still loading stuff into the lift. She helped out, and ten minutes later everything was more-or-less ship-shape (actually more than less, though if I'd had time I'd have done a bit more scrubbing and touched up a couple of bits of paint).
I was still loading things into the car when the first visitors arrived, but I kept a low profile (i.e. I hid). I know better than to hang around while people are viewing the apartment. I viewed one house where the owners were watching TV during the viewing, and I really felt I was invading their personal space (though there were much more fundamental reasons why I wasn't interested in that particular house).
So I headed out to Angie's. With Ice Cream. I must say Angie is wonderful.
That's all I'll say for now.

The front door of the building.

The courtyard.

The living room.

Bedroom 1.
