Victory of the Daleks

I think I need to see this a couple more times to form a final opinion, but Winston Churchill, Daleks, and Spitfires in space give this episode a lot to love. I thought there were some super images.
There's obviously more going on than we currently know. The revelation that Amy has no memory of the Dalek invasion in The Stolen Earth tells us that something has changed. Hopefully we'll soon find out what.
The camo Daleks were quite cook, and the little Union flag was a nice touch. Daleks serving tea, though? Surely not the most efficient use for Churchill's secret weapon.
Using a Jammy Dodger for the Tardis Self Distruct was masterful (though, did such things actually exist in 1940?). It was a nice touch because it was instantly recognisable to the audience, so we all knew he was taking the Daleks for a ride.
The new Daleks were obviously designed to make us hate them. The garish colours and ugly bulge at the back just look wrong. They made me think of the Power Rangers, though someone aptly referred to them as iDaleks. I can't see them lasting, and I predict that we'll have normal Daleks back pretty soon, and these will go the way of the Human Daleks.
I loved Danny Boy and the Spitfires in space. It was such a wonderful image. And nothing like a proper dogfight in space.
I'm sure the Daleks will be back later in the season, so some of the bits that didn't quite make sense in this episode will hopefully become clear. And, of course, we have the crack-in-space-and-time thing running through the season, so no doubt we'll find that all the episodes are linked.
Let's hope it's not too totally obvious.

The new Daleks are, like the TARDIS exterior, harking back to the movies. I both love them and hate them. Time will tell as to my eventual feelings. I always remember Ray Cusick was annoyed at the 2005 redesign, saying that they should be sleeker and more modern looking, so I wonder if he likes the 2010 version.
