One down, nineteen to go...

I've completed the first chapter of my novel. It's 5,500 words long, and represents about one twentieth of the total novel length. I'm very happy with the story structure overall, and quite pleased with most of what I've written.

Now on to chapter 2, which should be interesting because it contains no human characters whatsoever.

Hopefully tonight I'll finally crack getting data off the Psion, because it's getting to the point where I'll be truly screwed if anything happens to it.
