Thought I'd try and turn over a new leaf and get the early train this morning. So left the hourse at 7:28 arriving in Drogheda station just as the 7:40 train was pulling into the statoin. Managed to find a seat, and did a bit of writing during the journey. All went fine until about Malahide, when the train started going slow and stopping occasionally. It stopped for a few minutes outside Connolly station, eventually pulling in at 8:55, when it should have been 8:40, so I only got in marginally earlier than if I'd been on the usual train.
Someone else in the office was on the train I'd normally get, and he didn't get in till after 9:30, but that's not the point...
